What are the best ways to improve my psychic abilities?
Does meditation work? What about music or those special spiritual mp3s that are supposed to enhance psychic functioning? Will psychic seminars help? What about those home study courses? Or, will simply interacting with other psychics, mediums and intuitives be the easiest way to improve my own abilities as well?

Spend a lot of money on training and then you can be like thousands of other psychics. Then just say you are. Knowing that you will never will (or can) prove your abilities. Your word and mine is good enough. I’m a psychic too. Why should I prove my talent it to others?

I can tell you a sure fire way to improve them; practice, practice, practice. I’m assuming you already know what you’re psychic abilities are and are seeking to improve them, so just use them any time you get the opportunity. If you don’t, well, there are ways to find out.

First of all, there are TONS and TONS of books on psychic abilities from tarot cards to empathy; check them out any time you can. I don’t know of any specific authors, but just look around and you’ll find some. There’s also a website with a very long list of psychic abilities found in many people, as well as information about them; http://www.psychic-junkie.com/list-of-psychic-abilities.html Also has info you may find useful.

And, if you’re willing to spend a bit of money, sign up for some Wiccan groups or groups that study this. Or, pick up something like Tarot card reading, or anything similar– I know when I first got my Tarot deck, I had multiple psychic abilities surfacing one by one– and they’re still appearing and it’s kind of scary! (Originally, I could use the sylva method [google it] to heal people’s physical pain, after I got my first Tarot deck, which I’ve had for a year– I can read somebody’s heart by looking through their eyes, predict bad events before they happen, and I always know what the best choice to make is before I make it…. I just don’t always choose it because usually it seems like the worst answer to choose and in the end it ends up being the best way to go)

Lastly, you could try learning how to do Reiki– it’s a practice which uses psychic energy to reduce and even eliminate physical pain. Is seeing a psychic against the Catholic religion?
My grandma just died and my mom wants to talk to her. She is interested in seeing a psychic medium (the ones that can speak with the dead) but she is worried that it may be against the religion. We are not seeking witches or doing palm readings, etc. only speaking to the dead.

Is this against the Catholic religion and if so, why? God gave the gift, but you’re not supposed to use it?
